One stop. Five minutes. Nine cans and one Tim Hortons cup complete with plastic lid.
And all of these had been dumped by a beautiful stream. The consequence of shit-heads enjoying nature.
They say that producing aluminium from recycled sources saves 95% of the energy required to make it from raw materials. Aluminium can also be recycled many times over. https://businessrecycling.com.au/recycle/aluminium-cans
Of course the cans would have to make it into a blue bin first, but if you’re a shit-head in nature you obviously don’t think about that.
As for the Tim Hortons cup with stupid plastic lid… it is the poster child for anti recycling, anti circular economy.
