Tim's is one of the most Canadian of Canadian companies, right? Is Tim Horton's okay with clients tossing their garbage out of car windows? I'm certain this is not the image the corporation wants, but so far nobody from Tim's has called me back.

Ah! Concession 6 - thick woods, walking paths, rolling fields. A man in a pick-up stopped and told me he also picks up loads of garbage, from just outside his rural property.

Have received an email from the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks assuring me that there is a 'Made in Ontario' plan to inspire Ontarians to reduce litter all year long. The Ministry will expand Blue Bin access, and transfer responsibility of recyclables to producers. Which is all great, and I'm glad I heard from somebody. But none of the stuff I'm seeing is even close to a garbage can, recycling bin, or any other receptacle. Ontario itself - all of Ontario - is becoming one big landfill site.
