Of course, it's not only Tim Horton's, but theirs are the most visible. So I'm starting with them.


I never used to commute, but now I have to, as a care-giver - out from gritty Toronto into the beautiful countryside of Durham Region. And what do I see? Loads of trash. It's everywhere. So I've started to photograph the stuff I pick up, beginning with Tim Horton's items.


Why do people throw their garbage out of car windows into nature, onto other peoples' property? Why are they still using such non-compostable, non-recyclable items in the first place? Have these people been living in a cave? Have they not heard, that such practices are not acceptable? Who are these people?
